About RONA Light

We are RONA Light.

Rona Light was established in 2014 in Tehran and offers a wide range of lighting products. The company specializes in the design and production of architectural and decorative lighting, including linear lights, downlights, spotlights, and various other lighting types.

One of Rona Light’s distinguishing features is its dedicated “Designers’ Category”, which reflects the company’s deep commitment to innovation and creative collaboration. Rona actively partners with a diverse group of designers — including architects, industrial designers, and creatives from other disciplines — to develop lighting solutions that are both technically refined and aesthetically aligned with architectural principles

Trio Licht's luminaire collection — including Hexa and Dash, both A'Design Award recipients — was developed with international designers and is engineered for specification-grade projects in hospitality, cultural, and high-end residential environments. The most significant reference project, The V Club in Dinkelsbühl, Germany, features 2,100 Hexa units with full DALI dimming across a continuous lit ceiling — demonstrating the studio's capacity to deliver complex architectural lighting at scale.

Our key figures

Lighting is not infrastructure — it is the character of a space.

Shahriyar Shahriyari is an entrepreneur and lighting designer working at the intersection of architecture, technology, and business strategy. Trained in urban design, finance, and business administration — including executive studies at WU University in Vienna — he brings a cross-disciplinary perspective to a field that demands both aesthetic conviction and technical precision.

He is the founder and CEO of Rona Light, a Tehran-based company with over fifteen years of project delivery across Iran and the Middle East, and Trio Licht, a Vienna-based design house with a showroom in the city's historic first district. Together, the two companies form a vertically integrated platform combining original design, technical expertise, and international reach.

Shahriyar works directly with architects, interior designers, and specifiers, offering full capabilities in Dialux simulation, DALI/KNX integration, and EN-standard compliance. He is committed to partnerships built on design integrity, technical rigour, and the long-term trust that comes from consistent delivery across two continents.

A project is not finished when the lights turn on — it is finished when the client cannot imagine the space without them.

Niloufar Ghasemi is Vice President and Key Account Manager at Rona Light, where she serves as the primary bridge between the company's technical capabilities and its most important client relationships. Based in Tehran, she oversees the full lifecycle of key projects — from initial specification through to installation and handover — ensuring that every commitment made at the design stage is delivered on site.

Her most significant reference project is the Kerman Motor headquarters in Tehran, a large-scale commercial interior where lighting was specified and delivered to architectural grade. The project required close coordination with the design and construction teams across multiple phases, and stands as one of Rona Light's strongest completed references in the corporate sector.

"It's not the valuable objects that matter — it's the light that makes them valuable."
