Rona’s Presence at Milan Design Week Rona proudly showcased a selection of its latest products at Milan Design Week, further reinforcing its ongoing commitment to collaboration with visionary designers. Among the featured works was Acinac, a distinctive lighting piece designed by Sepehr Mehrdadfar of Hamoun Studio and manufactured by Rona Light.

Acinace” is named after the mythical sword of Persian kings from the pre-Islamic era of Iran. This versatile piece is crafted from a uniquely designed aluminum profile, allowing it to function as either a striking floor lamp or a contemporary ceiling light within an architectural space. The design thoughtfully incorporates different lighting technologies, with one side of the aluminum profile equipped to accommodate a track light and the opposite side featuring a groove specifically for a linear light source. Offering an element of bespoke luxury, “Acinace” is available in limited editions, with the option of refined leather or elegant fabric accents. Its form is sleek and elongated, reminiscent of the legendary sword it is named after, and the brushed aluminum finish adds a touch of modern sophistication.

Acinac was presented alongside a curated collection of furniture pieces, also designed by Hamoun Studio and produced by Arvinag, highlighting a seamless integration of form, function, and aesthetic innovation. This cohesive display underscored the collaborative spirit between Rona, Hamoun Studio, and Arvinag, offering a glimpse into the future direction of contemporary design.

In addition to the core design team, this project brought together contributions from several esteemed partners. Gallery Talaei developed a unique fabric edition using a combination of their in-house textiles and premium materials from the renowned Fischbacher company. Meanwhile, Torof Group contributed by producing a high-end leather version of the design, bringing a luxurious and tactile element to the overall presentation.

This collaboration marks the beginning of a new chapter in Rona’s creative journey — one defined by artistic synergy, material innovation, and a renewed vision for lighting and spatial design.
